#71 Me and Sally
Got myself a wacom tablet for Christmas…. so I may be picking things up…. I dunno… I would like to finish what I started, and for now, here’s a sketch of me with a bonus pet ( if you can tell).

sorrywehurtyourfield asked: went back through all your posts. loveeeee gregory peck. beautiful in person and in your drawing
Thanks <3 wow, I wish I was lucky enough to have met him, he does seem like a lovely man.
I’ve been having trouble finding motivation for this project.. and pretty much anything else lately, it’s exactly what I feared before the surgery. I’m struggling to do anything artistic in any way shape or form, I’m just plain lazy now, but I do have 3 people lined up for drawing tonight, so hopefully I’ll have them up by then.
Also, I started a new video series with a friend, it’s our little attempt to get the travel channel’s attention (we love the food/travel shows, but the exposure to vegetarian type places are completely overlooked) You can see our first episode here: http://www.youtube.com/user/sylviesart
I’m having a lot of fun with it so far, even though I mumble and am kinda uncomfortable around the camera.

Spoiler alert.

I think he’s adorable…. so sue me :)
Right now, listening to St. Vincent’s Actor. I highly recommend this album, give it a listen if you can. I could ramble on and on about music, (in fact I wrote a whole paragraph about it, but erased it since that isn’t the point of this post :-) ) so to avoid being long-winded, i’ll just leave it at that. It’s good. there.
Anyway, the reason I was writing was just to give a little update about what I’ve been up to. So as you can tell, I’m really far behind… but I do plan to catch up. Right now, I’m supposed to have about 80 drawings done, but I’m only up to 66. As I alluded to earlier, I had surgery 2 weeks ago. It was a pretty simple procedure and everything turned out okay, but still, surgery ain’t no fun, no fun at all! It took me about a week to not feel nauseous and weak anymore and the second week was all about taking it easy and not doing too much other than watching lots of tv (thank goodness Futurama and Mad Men are back by the way!) So I took it so easy, I kinda lost track of the 365 project. It was really hard to get into it again, but here I am! and hopefully here I’ll stay… until next May at least.
In other news, my sister brought home a rabbit the other day (he’s one of several who roam the streets where I live). But that’s another story for another random post. For now here’s a picture of him being stared at by my dog Coco.

I just really had to reblog this: ”one deviled egg…… the same deviled egg….”
